Script Hook V + Native Trainerv3889.0 / 1158.13
Description
What does it do?
Script Hook V lets GTA V run custom .asi plugins. Its package includes an ASI Loader and the optional Native Trainer. Install it when a mod requires Script Hook V.
Before installing
Compare your game build with the supported patches on the author's page. This tool is for single-player; it does not work in GTA Online.
Installation
- Download the package from Alexander Blade's official page.
- Open the archive's bin folder and copy its contents into your main GTA V game folder, alongside the game executable. Use the folder for the edition you actually play: Legacy or Enhanced.
- Keep ScriptHookV.dll, dinput8.dll and xinput1_4.dll together in that folder. The current package includes both loader DLLs; do not omit xinput1_4.dll when following an older installation tutorial.
- Also include args.txt. The author's installation guide uses it to disable BattlEye for modded single-player. If BattlEye still starts, follow the launcher instructions in HOW_TO_INSTALL_2026.txt inside the archive.
- NativeTrainer.asi is optional: keep it if you want the included trainer. Remove the old dsound.dll ASI loader if you still have that older loader installed.
Do other mods need Native Trainer?
No. It is an optional example plugin, separate from the runtime and loader.
What changes after a GTA V update?
Check whether Script Hook V supports your new game build. You may need to update ScriptHookV.dll before your plugins work again.
